Robert Leo Jones is an American artist who has been creating art for most of his 76 years. These days he is predominately a painter, but still works occasionally in furniture repurpose and design. His current projects are layered abstract paintings done in acrylic on canvas or masonite.
Bob is a graduate of Kent State University and has lived in Rock Island, IL, Atlanta, Lancaster, PA, Detroit, Washington, D.C., & Melbourne, FL. He currently resides in a renovated church built in 1863 in Louisville, KY. He has been a printmaker, worked for Phillip Morris and the YMCA, driven a laundry truck, wrote copy for New Holland Farm Equipment, owned a Midcentury Modern furniture store, been a landlord, owned a neighborhood bar, painted houses and is now retired. This full life of travel and work has given him fodder to keep painting for many years to come. He appreciates your support of his work and all artists creating today .
